Journal Article Review and Acceptance Process
The "Language Research Journal" is a publication that adheres to international publishing standards, operating on the principles of peer review and open access. Accordingly, the journal employs a double-blind peer-review process. This means neither the author(s) are informed of the reviewers' identities, nor are the reviewers aware of the author(s)' identities. This ensures the review is conducted purely on scientific merit, free from any bias or prejudice.
Manuscripts submitted via the system are sent for review if they align with the journal's scope and meet its general standards. Upon final approval by the Editor-in-Chief, they enter the publication process.
The Language Research Journal is committed to the highest standards of peer review. In accordance with publication ethics, the journal follows the rules, policies, and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and adheres to the executive bylaw for the prevention and handling of scientific misconduct. For dealing with potential cases of misconduct and breaches of trust, it follows the procedures of the aforementioned committee.
All received manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality of their methodology and research argumentation.
After authors submit their manuscript through the journal management system, it is initially reviewed by the journal office, the journal specialist, and the Editor-in-Chief (within a maximum of one week). Therefore, authors are kindly requested to carefully read the Author Guidelines and prepare their manuscript according to the Persian language section of these guidelines before submission.
Following the initial assessment by the Executive Manager and upon the Editor-in-Chief's preliminary approval, the manuscript is sent for evaluation and review by the respected reviewers.
